Lawyers prepare for yet another Sarasota lawsuit

SarasotaThe Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports that, “County Commissioner Shannon Staub made her case for offering the Baltimore Orioles $41 million in taxpayer money on a Sunday afternoon in an e-mail to fellow commissioners.” However, Staub and her fellow commissioners may have skirted Florida’s Sunshine Law.

Now, “lawyers who successfully sued the the city of Venice over public records violations say they are preparing to sue the county over its baseball negotiations.”
